I am standing for the Hibiscus Coast ward on the Rodney District Coundil because after living here and raising my family in this beautiful place I want to protect it for future generations to enjoy!

Climate Change
Thank you Alan for your information on climate change and oil issues. It has made me think more carefully about these issues and I will definitely be promoting policies regarding these matters if elected.
I live in Little Manly and have lived and taught here for over twenty years. I have four fantastic children and three lovely grandchildren. I live with my husband Graham and his mum Edna (who is 91) All the children have left home now that the nineteen year old has gone flatting.
After finishing my Masters Degree in 2002 I moved from teaching children to teaching adults as an education lecturer and project manager for a Ministry of Education professional development contract. I have written a series of educational books which have been published and sell in Australia and New Zealand. My hobbies include patchwork quilting ( a committee member for Hibiscus Quilters) and fishing when I get time.
